Old Promo poster from the "Hillside Ballroom" in Maybury Avenue 13th December 1963.These were the days when you just turned up on the evening and you were always guaranteed a top line act of the day.As you can see this night just happened to be the one and only appearance in Hereford of the Rolling Stones .
Unfortunately the Hillside Ballroom fell on hard times and was later known as "Mr Ts" before it's demolition in the 198os.Today there are no trace's of any buildings from that area left to see today.

I was lucky enough to see the stones on this memorable night.The tour took in an incredible 58 shows in 62 days and they got paid an average of £154 per gig.(stated in Bill Wyman's brillant book Rolling with the Stones)
